Rick and Adam Hendershot have just completed Recording and Producing
"The Smokin T's " , who are out of the Asbury , New
Jersey area. The CD is classified as Modern Punk Rock and should
be realeased in a few weeks. Their debut CD is another one of
Tangerine Productions projects.
Rick and Phil Naro ( One of Canada's most powerful voices of
all time , and has had cuts with Peter Criss of Kiss ) will
be teaming up for writing sessions) . They will write songs
to pitch to other artists and also for Phil's next CD.
Earl Johnson , guitarist of Moxy has been also busy writing
songs with Rick , for a possible new release.
Tangerine Productions and Rick Rose are also just finalizing
details for Bryan Chalmers debut CD . Rick will be writing the
songs with Bryan and many different writers that Rick will work
closely with to have a very strong pop feel.
Hamilton Singer-Songwriter Fraser MacNeil's debut CD is complete
and ready to go to press , it has nine songs that are streight
ahead , honest , Americana Rock & Roll . The CD is titled
" The Pursuit of A Dream" , and it was co-produced
with Gary Borden.
Red Steel Music out of Great Britan have just confirmed that
a Budgie Tribute CD is in the works , and Rick has been asked
to record his version of a Budgie song.
News from the Ottawa Valley in Ontario , Canada is that Female
Country Star "Robyn Scott"s next single is "Austin"
which was written by Rick and Naiose Sheridan. That will be
her 4rth single off her debut CD.
The Mick Ronson Tribute CD that Rick is working with Suzie Ronson
is moving forward with about 10 bands now confirmed.

Rick has just been confirmed to participate
in the Robert Plant tribute CD. The song he is recording will
be "In The Mood."
That makes it now 6 Tribute CD 's that he will be on. The bands
are Free, Uriah Heep, Status Quo, Beatles, Robert Plant and
April Wine
Also at Niagara Falls Arena in Niagara Falls, Canada on May
24th local musicians gathered to support the Justin Brown Cancer
Fund. Rick assembled the line up and the band was called Rainbow
City Allstar Band featuring Paul Antonio, Ryan Dafoe of Fifty
Diamond Rocks, Gary Borden of Helix& Ray Lyle Band, Pat
Cass & Fred Rose of Lennex, Johnny Dee of Honeymoon Suite
and Greg Fraser, Stevie Skreebs & Phil Epp of Brighton Rock.
Rick's song "Saturday Night In A Sunset Town" will
be on this years's SCENE 2002 Compilation CD, scheduled for
a July release.
The Peter Yeoman - Bluegrass Contemporary Christian CD titled
"Single Pair Of Wings" has just been released. Rick
co-produced the CD with Gary Borden. Rick also co-wrote 2 songs
on the CD, "Keep The Spirit Moving" and "The
Path."
The Mick Ronson tribute CD set (Rick is Executive Producer with
Suzi Ronson & Jamie Vernon) on Bullseye Records is moving
ahead very smoothly. Songs are starting to come in weekly, and
it is being compiled right on schedule.

Rick just got the word from Sony Tree
Music in Nashville that his songwriting contract has been renewed
and he will still be a staff writer in Music City USA co-writing
with the big hit makers. The folks at Sony Tree Music Publishing
are pleased with Rick's ongoing activity in the songwriting
world.
Bullseye Records is in the midst of a new tribute CD of The
Beatles, it will have various Canadian artists on the CD doing
their version of a Beatles song. Rick was asked to record one
song, Rick's choice looks like it might be "Lady Madonna"
Rick will be co-writing and producing one song for Jay Allan
who is signed to North Street Records in Canada. Rick describes
the young singer as a Canadian Steve Earle , very Americana
with a youthful overtone.
Also in the studio now is Rick working on his 2nd CD, titled
" On The Horizon." The CD will be recorded in different
studios in Canada and Nashville. The co-writers on this CD are
Monty Powell, Anton Fig, Gary Culley, Tim Bays and many others.
There is talk that Rick has met with old band mates Johnny Dee
of "Honeymoon Suite" and Greg Fraser of "Brighton
Rock" and they have been discussing the idea of releasing
a "LENNEX" CD. This was the first band that all three
have played in. Rick has been approached by some labels to record
a reunion CD of new songs written by Rick, John & Greg.

Juno Nomination for the Universal Recording
Artists " Doc Walker." Rick has a song on the debut
CD called "Dreaming Out Loud"
The band is in the BEST NEW COUNTRY ARTIST category which will
be in St' John's NewFoundland on April 14, 2002
The CD is titled "Curve" and the band will be featured
on the Mike Bullard Show while they are touring Canada.
Tangerine Productions, Rick's production company is busy in
the studio finishing up CD's for Peter Yoeman - bluegrass, Christian
singer-songwriter who is based out of London, Ontario. Also
in the studio is Fraser MacNeil from Hamilton, Ont. who's CD
will have an Americana , roots rock & modern country flavour
to it. Also- alternative modern pop artist from Niagara "Mez"
is being being completed. Rick has co-writes on all 3 CD's.
In Toronto, Rick met with Bullseye Records president Jamie Vernon,
and have finally completed the agreement on the Mick Ronson
Tribute CD titled "ANTHOLOGY." Rick and Jamie will
be executive producers on the box set, working closely with
Suzie Ronson. The anthology will feature songs that Mick has
written, produced, peformed and arranged, covering his 30 year
career as one of the most respected guitarist/producer/arranger/writers
of all time.

Rick will be going
in the studio in the next few weeks and producing singer-songwriter
Peter Yoeman from London, Ontario. It's a very spiritual Contemporary
Christian CD. One song is co-written with Rick. The direction
of the CD is very bluegrass and Ricky Scaggs influenced with
a southern gospel feel to it.
The Rick Rose Band just finished a two night stint at The Hangin
Tree in Burlington, Ontario over the weekend, to sold out crowds.
His band consisted of Daryl Grey of Helix, Gary Borden of Ray
Lyle Band and Murad Gunduz on the drums.
Rick has also confirmed that he will be producing Fraser MacNeil,
a Hamilton, Ontario singer-songwriter who is very heavily influenced
by Harry Chapin. They will record one song called "Scenes
Of September 11" for an upcoming CD compilation which will
be released by the folks at WIZARD Management. Fraser's 12 song
CD should be available in about 4 months.
Rick has started pre-production with South Carolina blues singer
Daniel Jones on a Vladmir Vysotsky CD. The CD of Vladmir songs
is the idea of english translator George Tokarev from Sfat,
Isreal. The 12 Vladmir songs will be performed in English and
the music will be arranged and produced by Rick Rose and Gary
Borden. Vladmir was a very respected actor and songwriter in
Moscow during the 70's.
The Mick Ronson tribute CD that is being put together by Rick,
Jamie Vernon of Bullseye Records and Suzie Ronson is starting
to gain momentum as all the artists that Mick has worekd with,
will be notified shortly.
Rick is also participating in the Wizard Compilation CD of songs
inspired by 9/11. Rick is just about to record his song "Rudy".

Rick has been busy in the studio up in
Canada recording and putting the finishing touches on the Sean
Messaros debut CD. It is co-produced with multi instrumentalist
Gary Borden. Rick and Gary have 5 co-writes on the CD.
Also news from the Michigan area is that Rick will be co-writing
and producing Italian vocalist /performer Frank Ricci. Frank
will be recording a CD of 10 songs that will be performed in
Italian with a few of Rick's songs!
The word form Siberia, Russia is that the band Artic Balloonists
will be recording a song that Rick and Desmond Child co-wrote.
The ballad has been on hold with many artists in Nashville and
is also on Rick's "Studio B Sessions" CD . The song
is "Something To Remember"
Out of the New Jersey area, singer/songwriter "Robin Tricker"
is in the studio with Bobby Livingood and they are tracking
one of Rick's Sony songs "Don't That Give Me The Right"
for her upcoming CD.

The Eric Anderson
show in Niagara Falls, Canada was a great success with Rick
doing an opening set of songs from his debut CD performed unplugged
and a few new tunes that will be on his next CD "On The Horizon."
The intimate crowd showed a great deal of appreciation as the
two songwriters sang their songs.
The Rick Rose Band performed a show in Hamilton, Ontario at
The Whistling Walrus and the show went off with great success
as Rick performed his original songs and mixing in cover songs
from such artists as Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones & Van Morrison.
Anna Wilson, a great singer/songwriter out of Nashville has
just released her debut CD, called "The Long Way" and it is
getting great reviews and a lot of attention from the media.
Rick co-wrote the song "Niagara"with
her and Monty Powell for the re-released Perfect Affair CD.
Canadian Country Artist Robyn Scott was ready to release the
Rick Rose/Naisoe Sheridan song "Austin"
as their third single, but due to another release out of Nashville
with the same title, the song will not be released as a single,
but it is on her latest CD climbing up the charts in Canada.
Rick will be co-writing some songs with Anchorage, Alsaka singer/songwriter
Will Triplett. Will's debut CD has the spirit of Jackson Browne,
Bob Carlisle , and Bob Seger combined with the sound of Nashville.

The September issue of Canadian Musician
magazine has just been shipped out to stores across Canada and
Rick has a column that he wrote titled " The Process Of
Recording Demos."
Rick has also started recording songs for the upcoming "Uriah
Heep" and "Free" tribute CD's which will be released
by the UK record label Red Steel Music. The producer on the
project is Rob Corich.
Rick has started working with new artist Robin Tricker out of
the Pennsylvania area. Rick will work closely with producers
Mickey Yannich and Bobby Livingood for Century Productions.
The show on September 29 at Montebello Park in St. Catherines,
Ontario went off smooth, as Rick's new band performed songs
from his debut CD. Also on the bill were old band mates "Brighton
Rock." The show was part of the Grape & Wine Festival.
Rick has teamed up with Jamie Vernon of Bullseye Records out
of Toronto and they are discussing working on a Mick Ronson
Tribute CD. Mick has worked with Rick in the past and also is
known for his amazing talents that he brought to the careers
of David Bowie, Ian Hunter, John Mellencamp, Bob Dylan, Roger
Daltrey and many others.
A very sad day for Rick, when he was notified from New York
and that a good friend of his,
aspiring singer-songwriter
Steve Cherry was one of the casualties in the World Trade Center
terrorist attack. Steve was working for Cantor-Fitzgerald the
day of the attack. Steve recorded four of Rick's songs in Nashville
last year. Steve's mom was Miss America in 1956 and his dad,
Don Cherry had a number one single with "Band Of Gold"
in 1957.

Rick has been asked to open up for legendary
folk singer-songwriter Eric Andersen in Niagara Falls, Canada
on Oct. 14 at the Victoria Inn. Eric has written songs for acts
such as The Grateful Dead, Peter, Paul & Mary and has toured
with Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue.
The
opening acts for the Rick Rose Band concert in Niagara Falls,
Canada on Sept. 22 are Break The Seal, Ugly, Thunderbox, Comedian
Mark Mathews & DJ B from Power Station.
Dee Anthony, Rick's personal manager, will not be at the show,
where Rick's new band will be showcasing material for their
next CD. Due to the tragedy that took place in NYC & Washington
last week, Dee's trip has been postponed.
The song " To Many Things" which Rick co-wrote with
Rodger Brunning will be on Rodger's second CD scheduled for
a November release. The CD was recorded at Grant Avenue Studios
in Hamilton, Ontario.

Singer -Songwriter
Jeremy Hoyle who is just getting ready to go in a record his
debut CD in Buffalo, New York, has teamed up with Rick Rose
and started writing for the release. Songs such as "Bloody Mary
Mornings," "God Made A Fool" & "What I Said" have emerged from
their first writing session.
The Rick Rose Band will be the opening act Sept 29 for rockers
"Brighton Rock" at Montebello Park in St. Catherines, Ontario.
The concert will be apart of the Grape & Wine Festival.

Rick's new band on Sept 22nd at The Victoria Inn. The show will

Just
confirmed that I will be writing a few songs with Jeremy Hoyle
from "Strictly Hip."He will be going into the studio in
Buffalo, New York to start recording his first solo CD. He is
very influenced by John Prine , Steve Earl & The Lowest Of The
Low.
Canal Days was a great success as my band performed to a rocking
crowd in Port Colborne, Ontari , Canada.
Good news from Siberia! There is some positive interest taking
place in the city of Kemerovo, Russia. My CD is beeing accepted
very well, as we continue to market it in that region.
The new Rick Rose Band are rehearsing strong as they are getting
ready to perform at the great country station, THE SPIRIT out
of Welland, Ontario for their 2nd anniversery bash in a few
weeks.

Doc Walker a great new country band out of Brandon
, Manitoba has just released there 2nd CD and Rick’s song "Dreaming
Out Loud" is on the CD.
The concert in Port Dalhouise , Ontario which was sponsored
by the OCPFA and the Spirit 91.7 went fantastic as Rick performed
an unplugged set of songs from his new CD.
The July issue of CANADIAN MUSICIAN that is in the stores now
(Canada’s most recognized Music Mag) has a songwriting column
written by Rick Italian / American vocalist Frank Ricci from
Detroit , Michigan is working on a CD , and will cut a few of
Rick’s songs that will be performed in Italian

Rick just finished writing "Gonna Wanna Make You Mine" with
Anton Fig an Monty Powell in New York City!
Just completed recording the Status Quo song "Invitation" that
will be on the STATUS QUO Tribute CD being releasd in Europe
on Red Steel Records.
Rick is in the studio producing Sean Messaros, a very talented
singer-songwriter out of the Niagara region. Gary Borden is
co-producing the CD.
In Theory, a adult contemporary band out of Westerly, Rhode
Island has just released their second CD, and Rick co-wrote
"Crying In Your Dreams" with band members Bob Cowley and Nelson
Burdick.
